first day of the year...what are you putting in for what you want to put out to the universe and everyOne?

Posture of the day:
Lotus...aka sit on the floor crosslegged as comfortably as you can...go as deep as you'd like as far as foot placement...don't forget the toes...twist right...switch legs twist left...55 breath eachside for my pops' fave number

My Fitness Pal: free app on the iphone helps you track calories if you're into that, but also very informational as far as the nutrients you're receiving and easy to use with barcode scanner and items from restaurant.  Also tells you how many calories you could have that would help you head in whatever direction you're going as far as losing, maintaining or gaining weight:) look me up to keep track together: thetraydish.

Always keep snacks on hand so you're not "forced to cheat" yourself

First meal of the year amazing salad from Veg NOut...almost entirely raw, pretty much every veggie they have(I love going to restaurants and asking for a salad with every raw vege/sometimes fruit they have ever since Mark in Costa Rica taught me how to do salads right and get what I wanted) with some vegan daiya cheese, some "dash a fire" sauce on top plus salsa and berry balsamic on the side in case:)

if you don't know about vegan  "earth balance" brand butter it's the bomb if you're cooking your food these days.  This Vegan burrito has whole wheat tortilla, beans, potato, sundried tomato, veganaise and salsa

  1. Hey!!! My day 1 included LOTS of Vegan Black Eyed Pea soup....rice...some chippies and guac....and a black bean, garbanzo bean, olive and garlic salad =)
