so exciting the second day of the year. every day has the opportunity to be better than yesterday. taught some yoga. ate righteous. was surrounded by great friends while getting things handled. charge is back at the school it's so interesting feeling the difference in people when this time of year happens:) anyhoo today's pose of the day is bow pose.
food today included yerba mate, had cashews and gojis as snack then juice adventure for lunch con mi sistah, and snacks with my babybro for dindin and coffeeeeeee

The history of this bow pose variation was I first had a big white book of yoga postures...I slept with it every night my teacher let me borrow it, memorized it smelled it and then bought my own copy of a smaller version when I gave him his back. I was forever attracted to the backbending because of the heartopening effect, and because it meant overcoming doubts and fears I had placed on my self since fracturing my vertabrae in highschool. Then, I stared at a picture of my other teacher doing this specific variation...here's him then me:
